Golf Arboretum

Slovenia's golfing infrastructure has expanded quietly but steadily since the country's independence, and Golf Arboretum sits within that emerging scene — located in Radomlje, a small settlement in the Kamnik–Savinja Statistical Region, roughly 20 kilometers northeast of Ljubljana. The club takes its name from the celebrated Arboretum Volčji Potok nearby, one of the finest botanical gardens in Central Europe, and the course shares something of that landscaped, horticultural sensibility in its setting among the wooded hills and meadows of the Tuhinj Valley foothills.

The area is defined by its Alpine approaches — the Kamnik Alps rise sharply to the north, giving the course a dramatic mountain backdrop that changes character with every season. Winters are genuine, summers are lush, and the vegetation reflects a temperate richness that feels distinctly different from coastal or lowland layouts elsewhere in the region.
