Hraunborgir

Few places on earth put a golfer so directly inside a volcanic landscape as the courses of Iceland's southern lowlands. Hraunborgir sits near Selfoss, the largest town in the Southern Region, where the Ölfusá river meets a broad, flat plain that stretches toward the Hekla volcano and the black lava fields that give this part of Iceland its dramatic, otherworldly character.
