Golfvereniging De Peelse Golf

De Peelse Golf has been a fixture of the Limburg golf scene since the late 1980s, built across the heathland and forest terrain that characterizes the Peel region — a vast, ancient peatland landscape straddling the border between Limburg and North Brabant. The course takes its name directly from this landscape, and the setting is genuine rather than manufactured: mature pines, sandy soil, and stretches of open heather give the layout a natural rhythm that feels earned rather than designed.

The Peel region itself is one of the Netherlands' most distinctive natural environments, and playing golf here carries a different atmosphere than the polderland courses further north. The terrain has genuine elevation change by Dutch standards, the turf drains freely through the sandy subsoil, and the prevailing winds off the open heath can shift conditions considerably from one nine to the next.
