Cable sits deep in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, a small town better known for the American Birkebeiner cross-country ski race than for golf. The surrounding landscape is defined by dense boreal forest, glacial lakes, and rolling terrain shaped by the last ice age — the kind of country where the woods press right up to the fairway edges and wildlife sightings mid-round are genuinely common.
With a par of 62, Deerprint plays as a short-course layout — the format that tends to reward shot-making and creativity over raw power.
