Few golf clubs in Belgium carry the prestige of Rinkven International Golf Club, which has been one of the country's leading private clubs since its founding in the 1960s. The club operates 36 holes — the North and South courses — laid out across the gently rolling Antwerp Kempen landscape, where mature stands of oak and pine define the fairways and give each hole a distinct, enclosed character. The design work has been shaped over the decades to meet championship standards, and Rinkven has hosted numerous Belgian national titles and significant European amateur events, cementing its reputation well beyond the country's borders.
The Kempen region east of Antwerp is heathland and forest country, and Rinkven sits comfortably in that tradition — the sandy, free-draining soils reward links-influenced shot-making even on an inland layout, and the tree-lined corridors demand accuracy off the tee more than raw power.
Schilde itself is a well-heeled commuter village in the Antwerp metropolitan orbit, and the club reflects that setting: serious about golf, immaculately maintained, and oriented toward members who play the game with genuine commitment.
