Golf club de Borgo

The Golf Club de Borgo sits on the eastern coastal plain of Corsica, just a few kilometers from Bastia — the island's most populous city and its principal port. This part of Haute-Corse is defined by the broad flatlands that run between the sea and the dramatic rise of the interior mountains, a landscape quite unlike the rugged maquis terrain most visitors associate with the island. Corsica's golf offering is modest in scale — a handful of courses serving both a local membership and the island's substantial summer tourism trade — and Borgo functions as the main course serving the Bastia region. The proximity to the airport (one of the island's 2 main terminals sits immediately adjacent) makes it a practical first or last stop for visiting golfers arriving from the French mainland or Italy.
