Eagle Hills has been a fixture of the Treasure Valley golf scene since the early 1990s, occupying a stretch of high desert terrain just west of Boise in the rapidly growing city of Eagle. Designed as a daily-fee public course, it offers accessible, straightforward golf without pretension — the kind of layout that serves as the backbone of a local golf community, drawing regulars who know every break and bounce.
The course plays through a landscape typical of southwestern Idaho: wide skies, volcanic soil, and the scrubby high-desert vegetation that defines this corner of the intermountain West. The Boise Foothills rise to the north, and while the course itself sits on relatively open ground, the surrounding views give rounds here a distinct sense of place that a more manicured resort setting rarely provides.
Eagle as a city has grown dramatically over the past 3 decades, transforming from a quiet agricultural town into one of the fastest-expanding communities in the country — yet Eagle Hills has remained a consistent, unpretentious option for mid-valley golfers looking for a reliable round close to home.
