Tsawwassen Springs sits on the southern edge of Metro Vancouver, in the flat, open farmland of Delta where the Fraser River delta meets the Salish Sea. The course is part of a broader mixed-use development that includes a winery, spa, and residential component — a lifestyle destination as much as a golf property. That setting shapes the character of the place: wide skies, mountain views toward the North Shore peaks and occasionally Mount Baker to the southeast, and a coastal climate that keeps the course playable through much of the year, though low-lying fog and southwest winds off the water can make conditions unpredictable.
At par 70, the layout leans shorter and more target-oriented than a traditional parkland test, which suits the property's accessible, amenity-focused identity. The course attracts a broad range of players — resort visitors, local members, and Lower Mainland golfers looking for a round paired with a meal or a weekend away close to home.
Delta itself is agricultural and suburban, flanked by the Tsawwassen ferry terminal to the west and the rich birding habitat of Boundary Bay. That sense of open, low-country landscape — herons, raptors, estuary light — carries through the round in a way no scorecard can convey.
