Bắc Ninh province sits just 30 kilometers northeast of Hanoi, part of the dense industrial and residential corridor that has grown rapidly around the capital over the past 2 decades. It is one of Vietnam's oldest cultural heartlands — home to the ancient Lý dynasty capital and the folk music tradition of quan họ — yet today it reads largely as a working province of factories, satellite towns, and busy arterial roads rather than scenic countryside.
Golfzon courses are simulator-based or compact technology-driven facilities, and the "ACE Golfzon" branding here points to one of the screen-golf or compact urban golf concepts that have spread quickly across Vietnam's cities in recent years, following the model pioneered in South Korea. These venues typically offer bay-based simulation play alongside shorter real-turf or synthetic layouts, catering to city dwellers and business travelers who want to play without the time or travel commitment of a full course.
For visiting golfers, Bắc Ninh itself is not a traditional golf destination, but its proximity to Hanoi puts it within reach of several well-regarded full-length courses in the wider Red River Delta region.
